The Victorian Terreace had an existing rear extension, which was demolished and replaced with a side return extension.  This allows for a full width living space to the rear of the property, opening out onto the now larger garden. 

An open plan ground floor has been created, allowing a view through the house to the garden and allowing for light to reach the centre of the space, which had previously been very dark.  The kitchen was reloacated to the front of the property and the living area to the rear:  This increases privacy to the living area and ensures a strong connection with the garden.
